About us

The Swiss Association of Tax Law is an association according to Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code with domicile in Zurich. It has more than 750 members at present. (Articles of Association, german PDF 108 KB)

IFA Switzerland annually organizes an ordinary general meeting and several conferences (so called extraordinary general meetings). On these occasions, experts report on challenges of the fiscal and financial legislation as well as the further internationalization of the economy. Thereby IFA Switzerland supports the scientific research and the development of the Swiss tax and duty law.

IFA Switzerland represents the interests of Switzerland by its delegates in different bodies of the International Fiscal Association (IFA International). It is responsible for appointing the Swiss country reporters for the topics to be discussed at the IFA Congresses (Country Reports).
